Sub Pop's Avi Buffalo is back with a new track and a forthcoming album titled, At Best Cuckold, which is dropping in September. Not sure if I could ask for a more off-putting, adulterous title, but the music itself is the opposite in that it's absolutely pleasant. I'd actually liken the lead vocals on this particular cut to that of Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. Avi Buffalo frontman Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg sound similarly sweet and boyish.
The vocal melody over the chorus of this thing is incredibly sweet, too. I can't say it's blowing me away or anything, but it's a fine, little tune. Enjoy!
